Less of the bandit country auntie if you don't mind.  (winks)  I have two little grandchildren living about as far from the Millwall ground as a Tonev shot at goal would land.  People are great, Bermondsey is great it's the football club and it's fans.

Apologies Brian. I turned a wee bit 'muggy' - having had a brief Football Factory flashback.  :o

Football message boards are mad sometimes....I've had to shift through post after poster for last six months in Onomah thread saying he's one of worst loan players we've had, dosen't care about playing for us and we should've sent him back to Spurs already.

Now he should be starting in the play offs. As ever the truth is inbetween, impact sub to keep the tempo up as he did today.
Yes you are absolutely right. I was one of the posters wanting him gone in January.

I thought he was lively when he came on. I think there's a decent player in there, he's got good close control. I just find it a bit bonkers people are suggesting he now starts in the play offs considering all the stick he's got in his own thread (unfair of me to just pick out Risso as plenty of other posters were giving worse).

His best role is impact sub to keep up the high tempo which he did today.

Taylor was awful.
Glad they upped in the 2nd half, although we should have been ahead in the first.

We still have not learned the way to score when we're on top ...

The last sentence is a bit bizarre to be honest. We have done that quite a few times this season. Today was one of them.
Just saving a few goals and a bit of luck for the last three games ;-)

I was a bit surprised at flabbys send off with most of the holte on its feet.

Which d***less f*** threw a flare onto the ground after our goal.

Most sitters missed in one match.

Jack ran the show 2nd half.

Derby praying they don’t have us in the play offs.

Onomah looked way more menacing than Bert.

Whelan another good game.

Cafu came on for Taylor which was a relief.

Please play the stiffs v animals for the dead rubber game.

Great atmosphere. A full rocking VP will see us through to Wembley.

Really enjoyed that. I shouted and swore quite a lot. Thought Hutton looked very good when he came on. Whelan and Grealish also had good games. Lots of good play from all Villa players actually.

I don't ever remember myself in the past swearing quite as much as I did throughout today, now you mention it.

I think having a ringside seat to the build-up to their goal brought it on. How the fuck is he a fucking international?

See.

Why did Bruce start Taylor? A liability from the start. Thankfully Hutton replaced him. Got to start Hutton every time now. Also, no point in Whelan the DM role. Onomah should've started all day long.

I thought Whelan had a good game today

He was excellent. Anyone who can’t see that - well I despair really

Onomah has upped it past few weeks. Certainly in contention for Boro.

I like Onomah, played in the right role he adds drive to our midfield.
I am now thinking whether he should play instead of Whelan/Jedinak in CM position to pick up passes from defence and drive attacks through the middle?

It's that pesky Risso again with his posts, wonder if Josh has had relations with a relative like Hogan? ;)

The Evening Mail did a poll to rank our players and Onomah came behind Lansbury, Bree and Taylor I think

I remember a few years ago there was a non league team that was run on the basis of the fans making all the key decisions. It didn’t work.

Personally I think hourihane must be close to losing his place to Onomah or Bjarnason. He’s soooo one paced and one footed. He just doesn’t offer much

And yet. And yet. It was his strike that led to our goal. And that’s hourihane all over really. But I really would worry about him playing against Fulham at Wembley. We just carry him a lot of the time

Hourihane is in because he can chip in with goals.

I would like to see Bjarni given a go ahead of a DM as he too can score.

Doubt Bruce is going to drop Hourihane at this point, just not that type of manager.

Well firstly I’m not really happy with him for his antics in the season we were relegated for somebody who claims to be one of ‘us’.

Secondly the majority of fans I have spoken to and we’re sat around me led an expletive ridden tirade every time his name was mentioned.

Cue applause as he’s presented with his award. Notice he didn’t walk to far towards the holte either.
