Ronnie went through the motions earlier as he often does in a morning session. Going to be some comeback to win from here.

I've not watched. What happens? Does the opponent lift the pink out of the way?

That would be much better. Nah it is just a boring roll up to the pack off the top cushion. Only O'Sullivan and Williams do it, I think. Though Higgins did do it once to take the piss out of Williams.

Anyway, McGill seems to have fucked this up.

When I went to the Crucible, got chatting to 2 blokes in the lift of our hotel about the snooker.

Turns out they were there with Gilbert. They were his mates and were pretty shocked that he'd gotten so far in the tournament.

So I've had a soft spot for him since then, plus he's quite local.

I reckon he needs to get to at least the semis to stay in the top sixteen. Trump next so should be easy enough...

I saw his semi final two years ago and saw him arrive with his mum for the morning session. I had a chat with her as we were waiting for the doors to open, very nice lady. Since then, I've been a Dave supporter.

He's made a great start against Trump this morning who's looking very edgy.

The BBC coverage is now terrible, you keep having to chase it around, bbc1, bbc2, bbc4, iplayer (if you can find it on there).
