Ronnie sets new record in his first round win at the snooker. Hopefully he's in good form and up for it. https://www.bbc.com/sport/snooker/53636639

Another highlight is that the lovely Seema Jaswal has replaced Hazel Irvine in the BBC coverage.

Lisowski v McGill into a deciding frame. McGill had led 9-6, really good game.

Enjoyed that match immensely. Strangely, Higgins looked the more nervous of the 2.

I thought he'd win easily, after going 2-0 up.

The tournament has been great, imo. Delighted they went ahead with it.

At this rate McGill v Clarke scheduled to finish sometime on Friday. Still pretty watchable with all the safety shots.

Yep, I wouldn't like to pick a winner in this one. Some excellent safety being played.

Would love to see Ding win it, but it looks increasingly unlikely with each passing year. His long game was rubbish tonight. O'Sullivan will have to improve to win it though, someone like Williams won't let him get away with missing blacks off the spot.

Yes it was very odd missing those blacks off the spot when you see how well he played overall tonight. Will be a great match with Williams.

Hopefully it will be O'Sullivan v McGill in the final. McGill doesn't seem the most exciting character on or off the baize but I've enjoyed the grittiness in his matches so far.

O'Sullivan decides to chuck it away by playing like me playing pool after a few beers too many.
