Ahmedabad gets 2030. Hope Pakistan are allowed to attend.

Might depend on whether their war with Afghanistan has ended by then.

BBC lose the broadcast rights for the CWG

Although there is barely any "games" to speak of at Glasgow compared to Brum.

Can't say I'm avidly following the Commonwealth Games, but from what I can gather, Archie Goodburn's coming across better than Adam Peaty-Ramsay.

Peaty has always struck me as a bit of an arsehole. I caught a few minutes of him at the start of Strictly and it seemed pretty clear he was looking for something "better" than his previous partner, who was the mother of his child.

Yeah, I've never been a big fan but I can't exactly point to any evidence, just a bit of a gut instinct.

Not inviting your parents to your wedding is poor form, to say the least. I also suspect he wouldn't have changed his surname to incorporate his wife's, if her father wasn't a massive celebrity. Maybe I'm just cynical.

I agree. I am however also generally quite cynical.
