Jedinak header cleared off the line.

Get the feeling it's going to be one of those days.

We're doing alright but we do not look sharp up top. We really do miss the Kodj inside the penalty area.

SHA's going to be happy with that. Villa need to pick their game up and show them who's top dog in Brum

This is where our bench worries me.  If we had Green and RHM or O'hare on there instead of Taylor and Whlean we could let our attackers keep on with the pressing and burn themselves out by the hour.

Scotty doesn't have a shot on him, and can't get close enough to goal. I do think we'll pick that lock as soon as players start to tire and the blood and thunder goes from the game.

Been a pretty good game so far. On another day we could have got a couple first half and then got away with their one decent attack which they should have buried.

Grealish running the show.

what a shit corner

I only we practiced corners we'd be 5 up now. We never seem to look threatening from corners which is strange and frustrating given the players we have.

Let's hope Grabban with a week's training is up to speed.

We were very good for the first 20 minutes and should have ahead. The spate of injuries allowed the tempo to go from our play and they got a foothold.

They are really shit though, so the extra quality we have should show at some point.

I must say, Birmingham is quite good at defending, but all in all they have made Burton look world class.

Villa should definitely manage to put this away with a couple of goals. They had a tiresome midweek game, mistakes are guaranteed to creep in second half. We simply need to keep up the high pressure. UTV!

We've pretty much controlled the half. My only fear is the Rags are picking up the loose ball when it comes out from their box.

Hogan has played really well but they're defending deep and keeping him at bay. Jedinak has been superb and Grealish absolute class. The only one not really doing it is Hourahane, he should be getting up there and supporting Hogan more.
