This is almost as good as Pornhub

I might buy a shitload tickets just so I can see Brassneck blow his load
Now that would be hilarious.

I've read this forum for months if not years and watched the stick that Ads & Quinton get from muppets who for some reason think it funny to ridicule their interest in away followings. I laugh at those muppets because why are they continually on this section if they have no interest in how many we take or how sales are going? Villa themselves update sales to satisfy interest from fans, there are numerous websites throughout the web that are dedicated to away followings.

I can't believe that there are so many boring old farts out there that don't get excited by large away followings. What do they get excited by? A packet of peanuts and a pint of real ale in the Bartons? Then there are the sheep, who join in to try to look clever and be accepted.

Why people think it clever to come on here with pathetic, childish piss takes is beyond me. Haven't these boring old farts got anything better to do? All they are doing is proving the theory that there's life after death.

People are boring because they don't get excited by away followings? Really? Now that is funny.

Not as funny your flapping last week because your Fulham ticket hadn't arrived, 2 weeks before the game. You even tweeted Villa.

Yes, people are boring because they don't get excited by away followings. ALL passionate fans that I know take an interest in how many we take to games. Only lifeless, boring old farts don't seem to get motivated.

What I find funny, or rather mildly amusing, is the number of new posters who have a strangely extensive knowledge of this site, which they'd never bothered to join until recently, and how their posts start off as innocuous then gradually get more confrontational. Then they start talking about cliques and followers and sheep.

I don't seek confrontation with anyone, especially fellow Villa fans. However, I will respond if someone chooses to attempt or mock me. The internet is full of idiots who seek to portray themselves as the epitome of intelligence, usually at the expense of others - It isn't exclusive to this forum or football forums in general. I find it quite distasteful that people can be so nasty towards someone who (as you say) is making an innocuous post. Is it really doing harm to anyone to discus the amount of fans we're taking to games? It seems to me like this has become some kind of bandwagon to jump on, in order to display the "Look at me, I'm very clever, I don't get giddy about our away support" nonsense.

You did say people who don't get excited about large away followings were 'boring old farts'. Are you not mocking them as well?

I would have kept that opinion to myself had they not started. I want to talk about the Villa, not be insulted or have my posts dissected for faults (as has happened several times this week).  I am not causing anyone any harm by discussing away followings.

If you are really that thin-skinned maybe a internet football forum isn't for you?
We regularly take the piss out of all sorts of people for all sorts of reasons, don't think you are special or that you are being picked on.

The first mistake you made was to think that I'm bothered by what somebody posts on an internet forum.

The second mistake you made was to think I'm interested in who you "take the piss out of" (you little tinkers)

The last mistake you made was to suggest that I think I'm something special.

Looking forward to it.

Any pre-match drinking recommendations?

I prefer a decent pub a bit away from the ground, quiet that does food (don't want much do I?)

One minute you don’t know where to find a suitable pub, then you are criticising fans for not going.

Is there a connection between the two? Or a significance?

And for the umpteenth time for those who have difficulty in reading: I have not criticised our fans. I have stated that I will be disappointed if we don't sell out.
