I think Dave P's team looks ok with Steer RDL Elphick Thor O'Hare Grealish and Hogan as adequate subs

We do need the walking wounded back soon though, otherwise unless we get some new faces in come January we will fall out the play offs I reckon

I'm going 1-1. I haven't been to Pride Park. I went to The Baseball Ground a couple of times for Cascarino's debut and that crazy FA Cup tie under BFR.

We were the first away team to ever win at Pride Park IIRC. 1-0 with a last minute winner by Yorke.

I'm going for a lucky hoofball draw...

                       Johnstone

Elmo      Jedinak    Chester       Taylor
Snodgrass Hourihane Whelan Adomah

Onomah (though I'd rather he start Grealish)
                           Davis

Lots of injuries for this one - Samba, Hutton & Lansbury out. OI hope Jedinak can fill in a CB or its Elphick  :o

Id love us to get something out of this but think it maybe our 5th defeat this season?

I fancy us to beat them.

Elmo, Jedinak and Grealish to come in for me, with Onomah deeper. Hardly weakened are we with that lot.

Hogan and Gabby available as options. Theyre without their best player, I don't rate their front four and feel Jedinak will keep Martin under wraps. Key will be to suffocate their central two, particularly fat Tom. Onomah, Adomah and Snoddy doing a job centrally and on their full backs to isolate their front four and make them go long. Jedinak will eat everything up all day long in the air.

Key is to press, press, press. With better quality all over, we're not soft touches any more away from home and hooefully a flea in our ears and a rocket up the arse following last weeks lethergy.

Imagine Dr Tony reading this? "a flea in our ears and a rocket up the arse" He'd be scratching his head wondering "wtf is this guy on about?"

And a massive big up to Derby County for being the first club to say we aren't allowed to sell outside the away end. That's the first club in 29 years. Apparently we'd be competition for the programme. I don't know whether to feel flattered or amused but it does show how Villa's attitude to supporters of all clubs is still light years ahead of just about every other club.

2-1 Derby.

Think our defence will struggle tomorrow and we don't have enough going forward to counter that.

Would start Grealish. Looking like Jedinak will play in defence. AEM and Hourihane the obvious other changes.

Grealish has to start in the number 10 role and the other changes will be expected. Personally I would consider Hogan up top depending on Davis fitness. If you have the likes of Grealish, Snodgrass and Hourihane, surely they can pick out passé for the runs Hogan makes, but there again we know that is not the managers preferred choice of football sometimes. I just hope he doesn't go defensive then start playing when 1-0 down

Maybe, if Nuno managed us.
