No need to play Whelan and Lansbury at home to Millwall. No need to play Lansbury at all. Be nice to see how Grealish and Hourihane can work together

They must have done it twice! They did it when I got there about 2:30.

I actually thought in the first 20 minutes we played some quite sweet football, but then Snodgrass started his giving-the-ball-away routine, the off-the-ball movement stopped and it went Pete Tong.
By the end, I was cussing big time, with the aforementioned Scot having really played very poorly, Hutton having run down several blind alleys, neither Taylor nor Adomah doing much on the left and Davis getting nothing off the CB.
It was poor.
Not much more to say, really. I've never been a fan of this manager and could vent my spleen on a good ol' invective against him but what's the point? - after all, the players seemed half-arsed for most of the game.
What really gets me is that they cannot pass to a player wearing the same colours, they don't seem to understand about off-the-ball movement and they need too long to make a decision about how to play the ball.

I'm not - we're not! - in a good place.

Shit performance, shit result, but that happens sometimes. We need to bounce back against Derby next week.

See Millwall 'fans' are still a bunch of middle aged gobby geezers. You would think when they hit middle age they would grow up a bit. They will be complaining next that them Villa fans were only interested in the football.

We have been scraping results all season, how many games have we looked decent and won convincingly? Bruce is staying so money will have to be found in January or we have no chance of promotion.

What am I missing here? Why would the police even allow them to get near the Holte in any kind of numbers to do that? Irrespective of when they did it. It's just asking for trouble.

Disappointing result and I expected a win but as fans we really must stop throwing hissy fits en masse every time we drop points in this division.

Yes but this every time is too often for a team that should be in auto places.

Lansbury was like proverbial spare ***** today.

Absolutely agree. I said so many times during the game.

Please explain? Am I wrong to think we would win today? Did you think it would be a bore draw? So many games like this, and it’s why we won’t be in top two, which is and should not be accepted

Looking into Bruce's mind his decision to play Lansbury was that he is a more involved player  than  Houlihane - well today he was anything but.  We got the same in and out of the game as Houlihane but without any cleverness  thaat Houlihane can from time to time produce.

You are not wrong. But I think some of us, well me anyway, cant help thinking that we would have lost today's game last season or the one before that. So that makes it a little less awful.

We are still pretty well placed for a run at the top two and playoffs. So I take two dropped points at home as annoying but not that bad. Not dismissing your views at all but my annoyance is lessened a little bacsue of where we are in the table.
