Blood some of the youngsters - this is a 'free' match in that win/lose/draw, it wont be remembered long. Far bigger priorities I think

What's a bigger priority than the chance of winning a trophy?

See what happened after the last round to see what rotation does.

The bigger priority is promotion. Only stating whats obvious when you look at how most of the 'bigger' clubs handle this competition. Winning the Caribou Cup (?!?!?) and failing to get promoted wouldn't make me happy.

I'd rather win a cup. It's been more than 20 fucking years.
In any other season when we were in the PL may be, but this team clearly isn't good enough to win at Wem-ber-ley in a Cup Final against one of the top PL teams should we get that far...it would be a great Villa day out but we all know it would be a painful result at the end of the day. Promotion is the priority this season.

I am with Drummond. No messing about play the strongest team and let's progress to the next round. We don't need to be worried about the might Forest on Saturday evening.

If we are going to go up, or have a good cup run, we will need a strong squad to do so. I wouldn't be playing the youth team, but none of the side who played against Wigan let us down and I see no harm in playing them again. Especially as our actual first team were far from brilliant against Middlesbrough last week.

So why bother entering in the first place?

I think the introduction of the `kids` has inflated the spirit and dynamics of the whole squad. WE have to stick to rotation as we will otherwise have half a squad no where near match fit and ready to step in if required. Give Kodjia a little run out to up his fitness and possibly Jedinak 3-1 .....

It's the hope that kills you! ;)

I'd like to see Kodjia, Adomah, Jedinak, Snodgrass and Hogan given game time tomorrow.
