So Stirling withdrawn, Tammy, Chilwell and Sancho all in effective quarantine because of Tammys birthday party, Foden and Greenwood still on the naughty step from Iceland. Southgate has a few problems now.

The three amigos need to be sent home, unless Gareth wants to be seen as anything other than a massive hypocrite.

Surely Jack has to start the next 2 games?

I hope not.

One start and a sub appearance would be OK.

Don't want him playing too much.

There's not only the risk of injury, there's also the risk that he'll inspire England to win

Hope Jack plays every minute for us. inspires us to victory and so begins his world domination of international football as well.

Come on, Cyprus. Big push now, I've got a whole British pound riding on you scoring one goal here.

England to play the Republic of Ireland on Nov. 12. I suppose it makes sense in terms of Covid and travel but was hoping to extend our unbeaten run against Ingerlund to 35 years.

Remember last Week when you said Southgate was doing a great job (from an Irish perspective)? Your opinion probably won’t have changed by November 13th.

I bloody hope not but we're 'in transition' under Kenny and then there's the whole James McClean poppy angle. Hopefully it'll give Southgate an excuse not pick Jack (or Declan).

The date hadn’t registered with me but you’re right re McClean. If fans were allowed he would have  been a target for some England fans.
