Really pleased with the win another 4 goals with a different team fingers crossed this is the start of our something good for us I'm so pleased for the young lions so get more game time and win and it's nice to see the goals being shared around instead of us relying on one man.

He does need to pick between Hogan and Davis though. Green and Hourihane both need to play, and a reversion to a wide 4-4-2 to accommodate the strikers wouldn't really suit anyone.

Agreed. I think it was just because it was a low key League Cup game that we were expected to win. If it was a league game we'd see players a little more excited after winning us the 3 points.

He did 1st half, Bree played right back.  They swapped in the second.

To be fair De Laet was pretty good at CB but not really pressed - really looked the part at RB and created a great run and pass for the Bjork goal.
Bree - at RB was a little out of sorts and was on the wrong side of his man a few times and was told unceremoniously by Bruce. At CB played it simple - again without much pressure to be honest. 

I really hope Brice changes Hutton for De Laet but I fear it will be same old

Agree with all the sentiments above but the vibe that came from Hogan to Holte was that he was making .a point. Two goals against Wigan is a start.  Long may it continue. It has been a long time coming.  I can live with looking at the backs of goal scorers.

I should hope he was making a point. I should hope he's got an attitude and an approach that says he can do it and I also hope that he gets the right opportunity from the set-up we adopt and keeps scoring every time he plays.
