2 weeks off after the Bristol City game so unless anyone is carrying a knock I don't see the end to rest anyone.

Johnstone will be rotated. I've no problem with giving Steer another go after he saved a penalty in the last round.
i liked the look of steer. Thought he looked like he could be a possible first choice

Guy at work reckoned that Bruce said we'll rest Davis so he's fit for Friday, although I can't see the quote anywhere.

I saw the same, he said he was exhausted after Saturday and thinks he might need to rest him tonight.

I don't mind us resting players but hope we have a stronger bench than in the First Round.

I just don't get this "RESTING PLAYERS" bit? If you look at the most successful team in England last season, Chelsea, they more or less played the same team barring injuries and suspensions last season in all competitions.

Yes but our fecking nackers look shot after 55 minutes of most games. Rest the pansies or it will just be an excuse for if we turn in another Brucie performance on Friday.

Bunch of softy good for nothing overpaid namby pambys the lot of them !
Back in the day over Easter they would play Friday, Saturday, Monday.
Squad rotation ? What are you talking about ??
Also just one substitute. and he could only be used as a replacement if a player was unable to continue (ie. dead or a necessary limb to play removed or beyond reasonable repair).
They don't know they're born !

1980/82 season how many times were any of that squad rested? It was so small that short of serious illness they had to play

Scandalous carve up by the Football League to extend  the competition to two years when they saw we were top after the first 42 games.

No Johnstone, Hutton, Taylor, Chester, Terry, Whelan, Hourihane, Lansbury, Jedinak, Davis, Gabby, Green in the squad list on twitter.

Steer, Bree, Elphick, Suliman, Bjarnarson, Lyden, Gardner, Doyle Hayes, Adomah, Ohare, Hogan looks about the most likely.
