His goal further highlighted why he needs a spell lower down playing every single week. Not League One of course, but he'd do well in the Championship. He took that goal very well indeed. He needs a solid season scoring 15 or so goals for a team contending for promotion.

Anyone else pick up the look from JT towards Dean Smith after Davis scored?
It had ''Do you still want to send this kid out on loan'' written all over it.

His back heal in the one-two with Grealish was exquisite. There's something about Davis I like and he makes a difference when he comes on, I hope he stays.

I like Davis, he is a handful and good at holding the ball up. Pleased he finally scored a goal and if he can do it more regularly he will become a very useful player for us.

it was a lovely finish and hopefully he will start to have more confidence whenever he plays.

That first touch to open up the angle for the shot was great and he finished like a boss. In a way he had more to do than his chance against Arsenal and Emi even helped him score that with poor goalkeeping. Must have known that Villa were going to sign him.

The Arsenal chance was on the other other side, and more difficult with him being a left footer.
Thought the keeper did fantastically well to make him pull it wide

Congrats to Keinan on his new contract.

Think he’ll be a very useful option....suspect he’ll be around the match day 18 for rest of 2020 & then if Wesley is fit club will see if he needs a loan for rest of season

Signed until 2024.  Wonder if a loan move will follow now his future is sorted?

No idea why we would sign him to send on loan. The last 2 games shows he is a potential asset to the team.

To get him playing 90 minutes on a regular basis. We should only do it though if we are bringing somebody else in.

I would start him against Bristol City. If he can start adding goals to his game, the debate about whether to send him out on loan can end.

He reminds me a bit of Calvert-Lewin - a home grown youth product who worked hard for the team and who fans started to get frustrated with because he wasn't scoring. Once he did, he's not looked back.

Hopefully in a few years time we won’t think that was a waste of money giving him a new contract

Not sure that really stacks up though.  Calvert-Lewin is almost the same age as Keinan, but has never struggled to score goals in the same way that Davis has. Calvert-Lewin looks sharp in the box, something that Keinan never has.
