Possible space now for us to land a forward?

Good luck Keinan

Not sure about this move.

I am a fan of Davis, and think he could improve the team being an option for up front. He can hold the ball up and bring midfielders into play, which would suit the likes of Coutinho better than any of our other strikers. If he is to go then would rather it was for a permanent transfer though, so we can buy another forward. A loan move just means he will more likely do a Guilbert / Kalinic and go on loan until he walks on a free. I see no great benefit financially or to the team in loaning him out again if it is obvious he wont get a chance if he does well (already happened at Forrest).

Good luck to him anyway.

Nice to see a bit of movement out with a few weeks to go in the window. Best of luck to the lad, hope he gets a break from the injuries and does well.

I really don't think it's relevant.  Why would we hold off making a signing because we've got a player who hasn't played for us for two seasons on the books?  If his wages are what was holding us back we really are in trouble.

I think there is an argument that he could be useful up front with likes of Buendia / Coutinho behind but for me he is a striker that needs to play week in week out to stay fit….even in his spell at Forest he got a knock.  I can’t see that role would ever be open here so best that he moves on and kicks on hopefully.

Hope he does well wherever he ends up - the bottom line though is that he is not quite up to the standard to kick us on.

Not sure what benefit another loan move to the championship is to Davis or the club. He must be disappointed Forest didn't make the move permanent.

Option for permanent. Don't like Watford but good luck Keinan, if there's anyone deserves some luck...

I imagine most clubs would be very reluctant to take him on permanently with his injury record so loan makes sense.

As for players out before new ones come in, it's about the amount of players in the squad. Keinan would definitely be named in the squad, and so him coming out frees up a space. Simples.

Or you buy a player you actually want and leave him out the squad.  Simples.

Good luck Keinan, I hope you bang them in, help Watford get promoted, and earn us a few extra million for the transfer pot next summer.

Has he got 2 years left on his deal here? Otherwise it's a loan fee and then he's off next summer. He must be gutted that Forest didn't come back in for him.

Good luck Keinans, actually enjoyed watching him on Forests cup run last year. I think  he is the type of forward we need, just less injury prone and a bit better.

Agree with the first two parts, but disagree with the ‘a bit better’
Had he not been hampered with injuries I really think he’d be our number 9, and doing well.
