IMO he has the Reading game to get a tune out of Villa. Lose it and he's toast.
Fucking hell, 2 games in and I'm already pissed off about having to go down to watch the usual load of shite on Tuesday.

I'm already pining for the summer pre season days.

Outfought, outplayed and outthought by Colin Wanker's cobbled together bunch of misfits. We are good at finding new lows, that's for sure.

to lose ok, well no not ok with the faith being shown in Bruce, if anything like today happens Tuesday, then severe reprimand something in the lines of.

This is not acceptable and tell me we will now go unbeaten for the rest of August.

Fulham managed to pick up a point at Reading today whilst playing over 90 minutes with only 10 men. It should be a walk in the park.

You can only imagine how Bruce will set us up on Tuesday.

It requires no imagination though.

"So, lads, you know what you're doing. That intricate and incisive passing we practiced all day Sunday and Monday - bin that as soon as you can, and that'll give me more time to think of something to blame."

I think even the coaches must have left early as we didn't catch up with a lot of them until the M50 and we were smart leaving at the end.

The performance was shocking and the lack of pace all over the pitch was startling. They had one or two  pacy players and knew how to expose us.

Just as at Colchester our keeper prevented further embarrassment.

The team was utterly bereft of skill, pace, application and ideas.

Warnock has cobbled together a team of freebies and they played us off the park.

Watching how Leicester played last night (despite losing) but it was full of energy and running... I wish we played somewhere near that tempo.

while the average age of the side hovers around 80, it's never going to happen.

There's something of the John Gregory in Steve Bruce. Millions on players who may play out of their skin every once in a while.

Spanned across 3 seasons. So bad it's actually quite impressive.

Do you mean play out of their skins for clubs other than Aston Villa?

To be this consistently shit for so long is some achievement. The law of averages says you'll fluke a decent season now and again.
