This is where Hogan proves us all wrong and gets a hat trick 😁

Their number ten, that's the sort of player I'd like us to get. Always involved, trying to make things happen.
I agree. I like the look of him as well.
However, in our team he'd be made to play a holding midfielder.

Me too, he just swatted Lansbury away very easily.

Only just got in and watched the last 10 minutes but we looked dreadful and Walsall outplaying us (they lost to Solihull at the weekend).

Can see why people are being negative, why are we starting Samba and Gabby?!

Our balls into the box have been pretty shite.

They do, i'd be terrified if the opposition had any pace against those 2 though.

I think Samba and Terry have looked a good partnership.

Watching in Sweden while on holiday. Just like the game on Saturday Villa look truly awful. It's just so difficult to see what we are trying to do. The passing is terrible, movement none existent, no width, I could go on. Hopefully it will be different come the first real game, but I must admit to being very worried with what I'm seeing.

Team played quite well in the first half and created a few chances. Walsall the better team early in second half.

Loads of subs on now, so it'll probably be a bit of a mess for both sides

I'm still not as impressed by Green as some on here are.

Agreed. But still their awareness, intelligence & positioning is impressive.

That we've struggled to open up a shit division 3 side, again, is a bit of a concern.

Who's the commentator? ....."it's getting darker and darker by the minute"

That's Woodward-esque  ::)
