They've changed Chester and Grealishs squad numbers and my kids have the kits. They are gutted to put it mildly.

I will, they're going to have a lot back. They've said in the phone they won't accept them back for this reason.

Well that's crap. Did they tell you the squad numbers may/would be changing when you bought them?

No they didn't it all a bit of a cock up isn't it. They should have held back on numbers or warned.

Given the price I'd have thought so!

Get on to Twitter and tag the Dr.  If enough people kick up a fuss I reckon he'll do something about it.

Were the squad numbers announced earlier this pre-season then they changed them or have they just announced the changes from last season?

I assume that they've just officially announced them today and made changes. Therefore I feel  they should have made folks buying shirts aware that the numbers where not known at that stage, but they didn't. We were aware that Some were going to change such as Kodgia for example or had not been allocated.

I think the best thing to do next season is wait until the numbers come out.

Is the Villa shop open at VP yet?

Yes mate its been open since last Sat 29/07/17
Thanks. Went down there this afternoon as I was in the area...the kits look good quality but unfortunately I left without spending anything as the range of casual wear and merchandise is extremely limited and disappointing. Not impressed.

On the flip coin, I was impressed to see a number of digital signs around the Queensway/Mailbox area whilst driving in the city centre.

In fairness, went to the club shop on Monday and they had some Terry 26 shirts already pre-printed on hangers to buy and the Grealish ones only had his name but no number so were waiting for confirmation.

That said, they had already sold out of Youth Medium away shirts and shorts when it's only been out 3 days. Ridiculous they didn't stock up loads. Tons of adult shirts available but they should realise that the kids buy the kits a lot more than adults these days.

Maybe they stocked up based on what they thought they would sell, even raising forecasts based on interest and just blew threw the inventory.
