Does anyone know if you can use a VPN to access the service or will your billing address mean you can't? I presume it's because of sky sports that ireland is excluded from the offer, which is annoying.

I've tried a VPN. They've taken my money for video, but all I'm getting is audio.

I kept having a problem.
I was listening from my laptop through the smart tv.
Every 5 minutes I got timed out. The audio would continue on the laptop (very quietly that's why I wanted it through the tv).

Pain in the butt and no idea how to solve it

What VPN do you use and is it easy to set up?

Shoot me for wanting to watch this shit.

All this talk of vpn is making me uneasy. If the club are watching.

There's no way around the geoblocking if you're in the UK you simply cannot watch.

A vpn service such as private internet access which I certainly didn't use today to watch the match would definitely not work at all so no point in trying.

You'd be wasting your time to simply make up an address in a foreign country as the sign up page and payment screen is far too sophisticated.

You with me?

I'm with you. Winky-wink.

For anyone interested, however, VPN services aren't illegal so are therefore perfectly legitimate to use - in what capacity, is up to you and your conscience.

They are generally subscription based, you always get what you pay for, so don't expect freebies.

They're just a piece of software you download, register an account with and cough up, and connect to - no techy knowledge needed really. There are a multitude out there, and as I said in the previous post, mostly subscription based, so do some research as to what would suit your needs and read up on some reviews.

So far it is not worth the money. Sadly. Other clubs and the iFollow service get the match replays up 24 hours after. If you pay for AVTV Live you wait a week.

Frustrating.

edited for clarity. The live streaming works great so far.
