Me and my three sisters are free to play at Blackburn. On second thoughts Cyn used to be a decent footballer back in the day  so maybe I'd advise Bruce not to pick her.

They're not bitter at all over on their SHA forum, the Holte End was silent apparantly and all you could hear was Keep Right On. Bless their cottons. As I said they were the worst fans at VP since Rotherham, garbage. They sang once or twice during the flat, lull period of the game and that was it. The ground was booming at the start of the game and after Gabby came on, a million miles better than it was at The Sty earlier this season.

The way they're going on aswell you'd think they played how Barca did at Real Madrid tonight. They were gash and barely had a shot on goal.

Thats the difference, to a man we have come out and said how shite we played, they on the other hand are claiming the moral victory for their 'performance'. They never looked remotely like scoring all game.

I've only seen the highlights and a few reports, but it looks to me like they had more chances. Perfect day!

It was a terrible game, that for me was drifting away to a late winner for them until Gabby came on.

I was done with him, but he did exactly what was required, bladdering the ball off their stricken fullback was a crude but massively effective mood changer.

It's nice to see us play the psychological card successfully, more so obviously because it's that lot and their new shitehawk of a manager.

Love the fact that Tony Morley predicted exactly what would happen about half an hour before it happened.

Gabby came on. Everything went mental. Then he scored the winner.

I am ready to confront my fickleness.

The goal on about 22 minutes.

That's absolutely hilarious. "Shit, shit!" And then the sight of Gabby celebrating his first goal in 14 months over the crook of a knuckledragger's head-cradling arm. Absolutely beautiful.

Right near the end of the video after the full time whistle, a drink was thrown down in anger, soaking the said knuckledraggers in front. Queue lots of angry looks and a foul mouthed tirade at the beverage throwing offender.

SHA. The gift that keeps on giving.

Atmosphere was incredible.   If only we could get the place that every week....

Poor game, but Blues claiming some sort of moral victory are deluded.  They were organised yes, but created virtually nothing ( not that we created chance after chance).

Not sure if anyone's mentioned it yet, but Paul Robinson showed once again what a moronic thug he is with his sly punch at Chester after the goal.

Him and blues deserve each other.

Redknapp's post match interview said that 'villa didn't have a shot'
From the BBC stats, Birmingham only had 2 more over the 90mins, and both teams had 1 each on target. And we scored.  :P
I can't stand Redknapp.

And that shot they had second half that our keeper parried was going well wide anyway. They were totally shit, and considering their predicament I'm surprised they didn't put more into it. They're going down. They just stink of relegation.

Due to no trains on the cross city line I booked a taxi for 9:30, he turned up 20 minutes late and said we were his fifth trip to VP already. The pub that has been relatively quiet all season was rammed and being on the Holte was a welcome reminder of why we bother with all this.

The game itself was a tense affair but with perfect timing Bruce sent Gabby on and it immediately transformed things on and off the pitch. He started clattering into people, chasing things down and the crowd responded. It seemed almost inevitable that he was going to score. Hopefully by tomorrow I will have my voice back.
