Jedinak had a great game at centre half and Hutton did well at right midfield when he came  on - both having to play out of position. We look very solid at the moment - credit to what was a very patched up side on the day.

And we are working much harder when we don't have the ball which makes a huge difference.

Well done Villa, great result and goals by Kodjia. Very happy Villans in Albufeira tonight!

That win was all down to Kungs vs Cookin' on 3 Burners.

Lansbury has an Achilles injury according to SB. Hopefully not too serious. You have to question the fitness of this squad. A lot of soft tissue injuries and what seems like poor overall conditioning.

Just back. Played well today given the injuries and I thought Adomah had a good game laying on one for Kodjia and one each for Hutton who should have buried it and for Hourihane. I also thought Bree had a good afternoon. what's the news on Angela?

And Dave Shelley is on fire!

Whoo-Hoo!  I remembered to touch the elephants in the room today.  I forgot on Tuesday for which I apologise most profusely.

I think after the shit storm that was last year, I hope this season has been like putting a tanker into reverse.

It's starting to feel like it now.  Nice little head of steam we're getting now.

Another win, another clean sheet and another brick to add to the confidence wall.  The injury situation is disconcerting though.  Well done Villa.
