6-1

Adomah (3' minutes),Bannan (40' minutes og), Hourihane (50' minutes pen), Kodja (88' minutes, 90'+1 minutes pen), Davis (90'+5 minutes)

Bannan (62' minutes)

And all our goals will be crap apart from Kodjia's free-kick on 88'.

And we will have played with 9 men behind the ball all game and each goal resulted from a hoof.

With 10 out, we probably should lose this one but I'm hopeful of a 1-1 draw.

They seem to be a well put together team and a club that deserves and has my respect. I think we should have enough about us to cause them problems but will anything go in for us! I say yes. 2-1 Villa, in a proper fixture.

I'm coming up to Brum on the usual train this weekend, but going to Coleshill's FA Vase semi final. This should guarantee I'll miss a brilliant win for Villa.

I won't be there because i'm at the Bromsgrove semi. I really hope you batter South Shields, sadly I think a South Shields v Cleethorpes final is most likely.

Cheers PWS. Hope it's an all-Midland final, but I think you're right. Although there are a lot of people out there hoping they get a battering.
I did look into a nine hour round trip to South Shields for the second leg, but the two hour journey from Euston to Wigan won out.

Good luck Bromsgrove.

John E did South Shields away in the last round with Newport Pagnell. It's a bloody long journey to see your side take a gubbing.

Despite already seeing off a few teams from the higher level, Cleethorpes are a whole different kettle of fish (ho ho), if it was 1 game at the Vic i'd give us a decent chance but over two legs I expect we'll be well beaten. I think the same applies to Coleshill. Went there 2 or 3 years ago with Sporting for an FA Cup prelim game before you changed the pitch.
We're expecting a near 3500 sell out at the Vic, Cleethorpes only holds 1200 so away tickets are like rocking horse crap so i'll probably do Wigan as well if I can get a ticket.

Coming up to brum for this with my Wednesday supporting neighbour. Looking forward to showing him a proper stadium. Please win Villa.

I don't think we've gelled yet, but we're getting better 1-1

If I know anything, and I don't, we'll smash 'em 2-1.

Villa 2 Wednesday 0

Ideally with their band turned away at the gate

Best result so I'm going with this!

Think Bruce said none of the injuries will be back, so the line up and bench will be same as Tuesday. We might edge it but with limited options from the bench if things start to go tits up I think a draw is more likely. 2-2

I am still thinking I would sooner stop at home and watch the rugby.

We'll be within five points of the playoffs at the end of the season. So, whatever result contributes to that.

Disappointing, but  we'll move on.

Was the last time we lost to these at home when Les Sealey (RIP) contrived to save a header and then fall over the line with it, then run around like a lunatic afterwards trying to tell everyone that it hadn't happened!

I remember it got a bit 'naughty' on Witton Lane after and I saw a man (unknown who he supported) attempt a flying kick that Bruce Lee would have been proud of. Alas he failed to connect with his target and fell flat on his arse to much merriment of those trotting towards the bus / motor vehicles / train station.

We will win......
