To be honest, I'd rather have seen Amavi given a chance a bit further forward.  We need some pace in the final third.

Grealish must have pissed off bruce to be starting behind him
Still not sure about Thor. Hopefully he'll settle down like the other two midfield additions.

I should imagine it's a bit like choosing whether you want chronic piles or a dose of the crabs. I would imagine his prime thoughts are about getting Hogan and Green fit so that he doesn't have to choose in future.

definitely piles, i had crabs once and it was most uncomfortable whereas an arse grape can be dealt with swiftly

Grealish hasn't done enough when he's started & he's disappeared altogether as the games have gone on. We all know about his ability, we've talked about it for 3 seasons. Unfortunately I don't think he has the last gear needed to enable his undoubted talent to shine.

Grealish should be on in place of Bjarnsson.

It's hard to know. You could say that Grealish hasn't taken his chance, and Bjarnsson is now getting his.

Don't think there'll be any live streams for this - looks like AVTV commentary for me

They're playing the Conor Hourihane song at Broadwood. Got to be a good omen.

I haven't seen much of him except 2 games in the Euro's live (haha - yes against England) and he works his socks off, and the Icelandic (who are very critical of players) rate him as one of their best. Give him time - getting on players backs is not unknown for us - but when the f... has that EVER helped?

To be honest, I'd rather have seen Amavi given a chance a bit further forward.  We need some pace in the final third.

He's just not a more forward player no matter what people think. His defending needs more work but he has no attacking instinct whatsoever. he can't skin a man, hasn't a trick, and doesn't look to hit the by-line. At least one of those three and you've got a player who may be able to push further forward. In the admittedly relatively few games that I've seen him live Amavi offers none of these, but does offer a decent cross. he's a defender.
