Bristol were under the cosh pretty much all game according to their supporters. I'm not sure how tired you can get watching a magician like Hughes play lovely square balls.

Bloke near me on Saturday was eulogising over Hughes and how he never gave the ball away, all I saw was a player passing it sideways an awful lot, granted better than some of our recent players have managed but I really didn't see what the fuss was about.

And if he did  not have white hair you would not have noticed him at all

True. Only Derby player that impressed me was the stocky number 7.

Hughes played a ball through to Bent that just needed a touch to score, the kind of thing he used to do for us week in, week out but fortunately he's not the same player. Other than than, despite all his skill and technique, Hughes was very tidy but preferred not to get too involved in the game. The number 7, Russell, was powerful and never stopped running. Reminded me more of a rugby league player, built like a brick out house. Hutton had his hands full but did a great job on him.

With respect to those that have commented on Derby just playied the ball square, can I add that we ourselves have been doing that for ages. Mr Westwood, now departed to pastures new, was a prime example!!!

The team talk for Bristol will be....get in their faces..give 100% and the chances will come especially in the last quarter of the game. !!!      I think the chances of us giving anyone a spanking in the near future are remote. Just hope we can struggle over the line again tonight but i'm not convinced we will.

City to get a thumping after the team finally gels over a game of bowling on Sunday evening. Following this, we go on a 65 game winning run straight through the Play-Off final, Premier League title, European Cup and Super Cup.

You heard it here first.

If this happens I'll buy you a pint

I don't know why but I'm really looking forward to the game tonight. I still think it will be a 2-0 win.

I'd like to see and end to one half good, one half crap even if it means just being decent for 90 minutes. With the quality we have, just being decent should be enough secure the 3 points and put our relegation worries behind us.

I can see tonight's game being pretty much the same as the Derby one . We manage to nick a goal and then defend it all costs I will go for a scrappy 1-0 with Lansbury scoring

3-2 to the mighty Lions. Recovering from 0-2 at HT, Villa put City to the sword with a second half of bewildering attacking play, culminating in a 'classic' hat-trick from Alan Hutton, the first with his right, the second with his left and hat-trick goal with his nob.
