Won ugly. Well played. Unbeaten runs are started by such results.

Sometimes you just need to grind out a win, so am delighted it's finally come and we can start to forget about relegation and have a good end to the season.

Hopefully they will grow in confidence. Main issue is lack of movement (the villa way) and lack of numbers when getting forward.

The perfect away performance.
Don't let a little matter like the fact we were at home get in the way.
But Christ, a win is a win is a win. Play like that, I'm not sure another one will be coming around anytime soon.

Odd, I thought only a loss feels like loss.

29% possession at home is not the way to succeed long term, but the win was all that was required today.

A win in name only, more like.
I'm not normally a miserablist but that was a fucking shocker. If it's the start of an upswing then all well and good, but we can't be spending the money we have and play like that with any regularity.

A solid, determined win slightly dampened by Bacuna's stupidity.

Excellent, not the best in terms of quality but they worked hard, battled well and ground out the result. Well done, happy with that.
As an aside Bacuna didn't deserve a red, the fucking linesman did.
