Who scouts these utter c***s?

We need a clearout.
It astounds me how we ruin players with such aplomb. Hourihane, statistically the best midfielder in the Championship this season comes in and looks mediocre. Lansbury, Forrests best player looks pish. Hogan, Brentfords top scorer looks shite. McCormack had scored about a millionty goals at this bastard level and then looked more like John McCrirrick for us.

I just think we need a modern thinking and inspiring manager. If Newcastle can get Benetiz, we can fire out some cash for a good manager. There's no point forking out another twatload of money on strikers, or defenders, or midfielders. Stick with these players, but if we're going to spend big. Spend big on a top manager. This squad should be pissing this league. Bruce's only speciality over the years has been motivation. Tactically shite. Bland, horrible, archaic and fuck ugly football. You get that, but with better results. However he's lost the players. He's not motivating. That leaves us needing to win tactical battles and that's not going to happen.
We're starting to look that shite that it's worrying. I didn't want to change at this juncture and wanted to give Bruce until May to get some kind of game plan or momentum but he's absolutely lost a grip. There's no coming back from how fucked we look under him now. Once a manager has gone, you just know he's gone. Done for.

It's a huge gamble, but lets can him now and make sure we finish mid-table.

From my crappy stream, it looked like Hogan dislocated his knee (if that's possible)

Ankle I reckon

Having had one or two of those in my basketball days, that looks like torn ankle ligaments to me. He should be fit for pre-season but it'll be weak and at risk of repeat.

It's not good enough.

The problem is, it almost never is.

It was for 40 mins or did I watch a different game?

Other than "not conceding a hilarious goal in that time", how was it good enough?

It wasn't good enough. If you don't score, or even create a number of good chances, when on top, then concede the second the opposition express the slightest interest in scoring, any possession you may have had is completely pointless.

In that Newcastle never had a sniff and we didn't look in any trouble. Not enough going forward I grant you but we are the away team against the to- of the league

It's not the end if the world if our strikers are out because we don't use them anyway.

Yep, time to try the Barcelona method with no out and out strikers.  Not sure we quite have a Messi figure, so Bacuna will have to do.

Do match threads normally get banished like this before the game is over?

At last a Villa player goes to see how he is - well done Hutton

Said the same. Absolute shocker. No team spirit whatsoever. Speaks volumes

Ankle twisted badly in landing. Will be lucky not to have ligament or Achilles damage
