In the IPL game lions got 183-4

KKR are 73-0 after 6, Lynn and Gambhir are smashing the bowlers all over the place.  Just got 20 from the 6th off the spinner who isn't even trying to spin the ball.

Woakes bowled 3 overs for 35 and didn't look like he 'got' the conditions but watching the reply it seems to have been a reasonable performance.

We bowled out Kent for just short of 300.

Bell actually won the toss and put Surrey in? Not a wise decision. A draw at best is all that the Bears can hope for.

There was no toss. Away teams can always choose to bowl without a toss if they so choose. If we had wanted to bat, there would have been a coin toss.

It does look a foolish decision, regardless.

I will take a view once we have batted. It could well be a typically flat Oval track albeit one you don't generally see in April.

Not the day we needed, sounds like Footitt was getting something extra out of the pitch though.
