We are the new Villa.

Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Northants, what a roll call.

Bomb squad required. I'll start with OHD.

In fairness the bowling attack is missing Woakes, Wright, Rankin and the new signing.  When you factor in that is no real surprise that three out of those four aren't playing then some serious questions have to be asked.

But we have Tim Ambrose coming in at 4 and Rikki Clarke at 5. A heck of a lot is riding on Hain, Bell and Trott. Even last the year our long tail bailed us out time after time.

I was listening to the commentary the other day and they said sometimes you have to get relegated in order to rebuild. They were already resigned to the fact that this was going to happen.

I was looking forward to the cricket season after a frustrating season for Villa. Not exactly enjoyable at Edgbaston is it?!!

True.  Guess we have been missing Porterfield recently due to Ireland duties, but we still look an opener short since Chopra has moved on.  Also haven't really replaced Evans in the middle order either.

Although true a higher middle order of Trott - Bell - Hain - Ambrose should be putting more runs on the board than has been seen. That hain has been dropped shows how much we're scraping the barrel.
