Well its Team Bruce attempting damage limitiation at the moment. It's not really about Villa anymore, its about writing his own narrative about why he failed here, so he can get another job.

Pretty nasty when they went 3-2 up. i sit directly behind the dugouts and felt personally sorry for Bruce.

i also noticed none of his coaches went and stood with him for support, leaving him a lone target on the touchline.

When you say dishes it out you're talking about him saying stuff like fans over reacted or are getting hysterical.  He is not personally screaming at individuals calling them fat useless ****** and cowards is he?  I think there's a bit of a difference.

The fans were middle aged respectable people, women branding him a c*nt, men shouting obscenities.

It just wasn't comfortable , and nobody deserves that, even in this situation.

One has, Liam Rosenior. He spoke in depth about playing for Bruce and seeing no system at all at Villa.
Mentioned buying 20 players without a plan and trying to keep them happy.
This is from a bloke who played under Bruce for Hull, so he knows a bit more than hes letting on.
