Talksport's blaming us fans for having certain expectations from our team.

They all keep talking about how he did well to get us to a playoff final, and how we were unlucky to lose to Fulham, like we should be grateful to him for that. It's baffling. Xia is ultimately responsible for taking us to the financial brink, but Bruce is also guilty of reckless spending and complete failure to get anywhere near the best out of a lot of his signings.

The way he talks of that play off final like it's an achievement is driving me insane. Colin Wanker got that rabble Cardiff 2nd last season, we had our chances to take 2nd and we blew it and then in our final roll of the dice we didn't turn up first half at Wembley and got what we deserved.

We need a manager who's target is automatic promotion, not this 'there or thereabouts' top 6 bollocks he spouts week after week.

The ignorance of the man has surprised me. But, it shouldn't have really. Take his early management career, he played up and hoped between clubs before really settling at Blues.
The bloke is more up his own arse than he should be, he can't live off these 4 promotions forever. I mean, Jose Mourinho is in a very similar situation, and what he's won is amazing compared to Bruce. The man manager only attribute that Bruce has is wearing thin in modern football, he can't adapt enough like a modern head coach. Times up for a few of these old school types.

I think credit needs to be given for stabilising the club and stop us from falling further.  Just he has not been able to get out of 3rd gear and really kick us on. The fans see this, Bruce intimates the same now surely the club needs to wake up,admit the same and do something about the situation

But we all know it's not that easy don't we? If the club could bin him and his useless cohorts without ffp repercussions I'm in no doubt he would be on his way to the Caribbean already with a huge wad of cash. They will be taking the best possible advise now on how to get us out of this desperate situation with damage limitation being the key. My fear is we’ve probably blown our chance of promotion this year and if we’re docked points for FFP violations we won’t get promoted next year either and we turn into an institutionalised Championship team like Leeds did.

There no awareness at the bigger picture and they seemed completely dismissing of Rupert Bell villa fan,reporter who said that he's had enough  .

Many of these pundits, other fans  are only looking surface level and not the big picture.

Facts wise like bruce says got to play off final, bad turmoil and financial issue in summer and now just trying to gel squad togheter . Onky 2 points of play off .Those are true and are the basic facts .

But we all know that it much deeper. The tactics , the performances, the lack of balance in squad and team has been ongoing.

Yes circumstances haven't helped but Bruce has lost us being 'convinced' that this squad will be there or thereabouts and he's the man to do the job.

Basically his methods should be questioned and suggestion should be said about why this team isn't up the top 2 more in media. 
If only because the players are pretty much stand out in this league.

I'm getting tired of Bruce is the man to get you out of this league and given time he'll do it.
I would think several managers could get this team up given time but because of the facts he's done it before he getting some kind of  dispensary dispensation.

I do hope the new arrangements at technical director and head of performance mean a change too with the manager who is in more tune with a more progressive approach.

Yes the risk of not getting rid of him is now greater than keeping him, and surely the owners know this
