Can't we use one of our loans to loan a new manager?

We always seem to be one game away from a crisis on here.

Ipswich and yesterday were two disappointing results against two very poor sides.

We've placed additional pressure to go and win at Sheffield United. Then you look at Blackburn and Rotherham and you'd think we'd be capable of taking 4 points; 16 from 8 would be bang on course. Nobody looks like disappearing over the hill at this stage.

El Ghazi and Bolasie should allow a 433 and getting closer to Kodjia, as he was very isolated.

It seems that Brentford had a similar time labouring away at Blackburn. Wednesday was a very entertaining game that took a lot out of both sides.

Quality of delivery must improve and we must get closer to Kodjia. Having two lads that are rapid will almost certainly add a dynamic we've not had for some time.

Yesterday was so bitterly frustrating. Such rank stupidity from Chester, of all people.

What I find weird is that I think it’s pretty clear if we moved Tuanzebe to centre half and put De Laet at RB we’d have much better balance. Not saying it’d be perfect but it’d have more players in their natural positions, and there would be better pace distribution in the centre.

I just dont understand RDL is not getting in the squad , especially  when he can play RB . LB , CB and RW and had so much experience in this league doing really well.

I see Sheffield Wednesday took all of two minutes to score against ten man Ipswich.

That's us done for then as Blackburn also beat the mighty Brentfolona. Best give up
Are you defending our performances, especially against the bottom two ? Starting to echo last season when after beating Wolves,we only won 1 of 5 consecutive games against teams from the lower half of the table.
Brentford had the second lowest home support in the league last year.Since modern football was invented,ie the introduction of the Premier League, they spent only one year in the second tier prior to their promotion in 2014.
I think staff at Brentford should be congratulated on their achievements not mocked.

In the ST this morning it reports that Bruce was seen on the pitch before yesterday’s game in ‘an animated conversation ‘ with the clubs new owners.

Anybody know what that was about?

Sounds like something about nothing.

the owners had been to see Jurassic World at broad street and they was sure Bruce had got a part in it.

Time to go. Drawing matches with shit teams was what got Di Matteo sacked. There's no excuse for no clean sheets in five matches. He knew Terry was leaving in May and has failed to do anything about it.

And we are minus two on the swingometer 😡

downfall last season.  In the past 8 days, we've drawn 3, including 2 against the bottom 2 teams.

In Bruce's defence, a decent striker may make a difference as Kodjia doesn't look like being the answer.

but the problem with Bruce he tends to leave most strikers isloated , like he has done with Kod and RHM this season and did it loads with Hogan.

Theres a decent player in hogan somewhre but hes got no chance with Bruce as manager . He probably would score a bucket load for Chris Wilder .

And as Paul Winch,I think, previously mentioned we could play with a higher line and it would mean midfield being closer to the lone striker and  find it easier to get more numbers into the box.It would also make us more compact with less space to play through our lines. It would also make a pressing game easier to implement which causes opposing teams at this level to be far more prone to making mistakes.

Just common sense, play players in thier position and build from there.
We have the luxury of Jedi or Whelan as added security in front of the Centre Halves.
But no, the idiot keeps making it more difficult than it needs to be.

Have to say, watching some of the play Leeds are producing is just making me depressed. No-one's telling me they have better players from 1 to 11. We should be playing far, far better than we are.

Don’t worry Leeds will blow up, just like Wolves did, Boro are no threat, it’s just a matter of time before we start dominating this league ;)

We always seem to be one game away from a crisis on here.

I think that is a symptom of the situation we are in, and specifically the perception (me included) that Bruce does not have a plan beyond assembling a squad of comparatively well paid players which are of an age where they don't need much mentoring and coaching.

If people thought that he was working towards a greater vision and strategy then, I think, he'd be cut some slack.  Instead we keep coming back to this groundhog day every few weeks.

Bruce has only had 2 years to get a style of play and squad to perform. Definitely needs more time and money. Plus his Championship experience.  We’re so lucky.

The thing about Leeds is that their transition has taken place over a few games.
Just a few games to implement a new style of playing and install a completely different mindset in the team.

Of course they might blow up, and sure they will have a bad run at some point, but, the look really dangerous at the moment.

It makes a mockery of the argument that you need experience of this division to get out of it.

I think a pay rise and contract extension is in order.

It will be interesting to see if they overcome the issues that dogged them the previous year vis-a-vis a lack of a goal scorer post-Woods and a very thin squad. The received wisdom is the Bielsa runs them into the ground, so injuries and fatigue are still likely to be a factor.

Cast our minds back 12 months and Thomas Christiansen was similarly lauded and Leeds were having their name engraved on the trophy. Time, as ever, will tell.
