Return of the pants wetters insults for anybody who says we should be doing better.

Where are these posts?  Genuine question?

I'd say it's more to do with how we've played each game. The results are not to be sniffed at but when you play as we do results like today will happen far too often. We've played 4 poor sides so far and not looked particularly good in any of the games, I just don't see how we play as resulting in a sustainable top 2 challenge. I'd love to be wrong and we storm to the title under Bruce, but when the main plan seems to be grind out a result while hoping at least one of our superior players does a bit if magic then it doesn't take much for the wins to stop.

Yep. We get into this mindset during the league season and so it shoudn't be a shock when we play like that in a play off final.

The mindset is one of negativity and pinching games here and there. Of course I'm not expecting to win every game 3 or 4-0 but for what we have in the team we should be on the front foot much more as Leeds have shown in their games.

Bielsa in! Bit late, though.

A nice thought all the same though.

Still, after we fail to go up this season, we can wait with baited breath for our saviour.  Good luck to him though as he'll likely be minus 2 if not 3 of Jack, Chester & McGinn.

That’s what pisses me off the most. Bruce is wasting the years where we have the best chance of promotion, before we enter what may be a very long stay in the shitty leagues, whilst managing to convince people that nobody else would do any better, which is bollocks.

Same as last season.

I'm not saying 'sack him'. I'm saying that there are reasons to be concerned that he'll fail in taking us up. 7 points from 9 is great form, but we have to raise our expectations in this division. If we're going to think of ourselves as proper promotion candidates, then we have to think of 7 from 9 as just above par.

This is the point. 7 from 9 is fine, in theory, but when Leeds are getting 9 from 9 then we'll be hoping for 'thereabouts' before we know it. He doesn't have the right mentality to manage a big club.

Their start was harder than ours too.

Really?

Stoke, Derby and Rotherham all look utter shite.

Do you not think on paper it looks more impressive? Derby have shipped six in two and were wide open against Leeds and looked very meh against Reading.

Somebody said Stoke are having our 2016/17 season and the way they're struggling to come to terms with being in this league, that poster is looking wiser.

Rotherham will do well to avoid the drop.

So I don't think their start has in reality been as difficult as is being perceived or perhaps they envisaged when the fixture list came out.

It's too early to work out who's going to be there or there about's yet. We can only compare our results and performances to last season. on that basis, we seem to be in a similar vein to periods last season where we weren't playing well but winning and drawing

Well the bookies think so but it’s probably too early to call any real trends.

But even if you say they are just 6 generic shit teams, which is valid, the point remains that we squeaked a win against one crap team and drew with the other one, despite having an extra man for most of the game, while Leeds have put in performances that have made them everyone’s pick to win the league.

It's crap to watch and the tactics are non-existent but whilst we are picking up points, the owners won't be looking for a new Manager.  Like others, I think we could be so much better with another man at the helm.  I reckon we are three short of being in contention for promotion, a winger, forward and more dominant central midfielder.   I've been saying Bruce out for a long time and haven't changed my mind but I don't think they will change now.

We need a centre half or a manager who doesn't think Jedinak is one.
