'Fun' facts.

Bruce is the first Villa manager to have 3 attempts at getting promoted from division 2.
We've never spent 4 consecutive seasons in division 2. Twice before we've spent 3 seasons in division 2 and left it at the end of the third season both times. Once relegated and once promoted.

I don't think you can count the first season, and he got about as close as you can to doing it last season without actually doing it.

I totally understand the decision but he's fucking lucky, I honestly believe that if the window went until the end of the month he'd be gone. I also think his own inept transfer policy last season has probably saved him this year because it's just too much work for someone else to come in and make the signings we need.

If we're not looking good for automatic promotion after 10/15 games he'll be given his marching orders.

10/15 games wasted yet again.

Of course you can count the first season, and we may as well have finished 15th last season as the end result was the same, another season in this shitpot league.

He got 35 games and bought 6 players in January and you're willing to give him a complete free pass for it?

I wanted him gone but really hope he proves me wrong and we storm this division under him.

As the only other option being touted around was Henry if we're to believe that then I'm ok with Bruce staying.

Well not particularly inspiring, but they now need to do the work needed to improve the squad.
