Certainly underwhelmed by Bruce's choice of subs today. No creativity on there to replace tiring Albert or Snoddy. I'd much prefer to give game time to our own youngsters like Green and O Hare. If loans means having to select players like Onomah at the expense of our own, to keep the likes of spuds and manure happy, then I'm not a fan. UTV!
I'd like to see more of Green and O Hare. I suppose it could be argued that if we're in the 2nd division again next year it bodes well to keep Man U and Spurs sweet - good relations and all that (especially if we have to cut the squad due to FFP) but then Bruce may not be here  then if that is the case.

Plus in his defence or to add to the debate there's Sam Johnstone.

He lost the grip today with his early substitutions. Not sure why he thoughts job was done at that stage?

Mark Bosnich was the worst Villa keeper when it came to kicking a ball in my forty years of watching Villa. He was also the best Villa goalkeeper I have seen in my forty years of watching Villa.

At his best he certainly was, both

It looks like some fatigue has set in.
He is picking the same players week in week out now.
The challenge is how to keep the team fresh without losing momentum.
A few Adomah. Hourihane Barney looked leggy today.

Barney looked leggy??
How the fuck do you get to that?

He has only recently got into the starting line up and in the 90 minute he was starting to pop in in their half.

Well, a leggy Albert that makes one for Scotty and scores one himself is ok in my book

Week in week out.....remind me of all the points we have lost ? I'm being obtuse I know, but it's like reading comments from an inverse Paul Lambert

In his defence though, the back pass rule was introduced just as his career was lifting off, so it presumably wasn't something he'd spent all his formative years practising, like I would think they do now.

I don't see the problem with sticking with a winning team either. It  makes perfect sense to me.

Isn't it time we were all singing from the same hymn sheet and back the team to promotion.
