Agree with my mate Pooligan - we've got to turn it round sometime soon - and when better than St. Valentine's to do it.

Come on Villa - I just hope the players know that people like us will support the Villa forever - it is sometimes a one way love affair.

Villa 2-1.

After the massive let down against Ipswich I will be in attendance again tonight, I cant even contemplate another defeat, 2-1 to Villa maybe moving us up a couple of places and in the process making us all a fraction happier.

Hadn't realised we had another match before the Newcastle match.

I'm going for 1-1 with Lansbury scoring but getting booked for taking his shirt off, causing him to miss the Newcastle match. Probably.

What makes you think he doesn't fancy playing the Barcodes?

As I look out of my office window, I can see that the stadium is all lit up and looking fantastic, hoping for a win but not overly confident!

That poll is one of the most pessimistic I can remember for a home game in quite a while.

(I contributed to said pessimism)

Can't be a game tonight as on an FA coaching course until 5 so not enough time to make it from Bournemouth. Some of the younger guys on the course have played at the Hong Kong Sevens against Villa and we're just so positive about our youngsters and how the club was perceived at the tournament. Please let tonight be the begining of the 'Great Leap Forward' . Villa 2 Barnsley 1

To win we need to get at them from the start. A negative line up from Bruce will give them confidence. We need a line up that is going to press them. It's no use Bruce losing his bottle and going for a defensive line up as we can't defend anyway.

To win we need to get at them from the start.

To win we need anybody but Legion, Toronto, Redsox or Mr Shin to start the Match Thread.

Fear not, Villans, I'm on my way.

Not really shock advice but on the bus to town and it's already cold so wrap up anyone else going to the game.
