And that wet dishrag could? I don't know if you have noticed but he was transferred as we languish mid table in tier two. Awfully ineffective footballer particularly in execution of any defensive responsibilities.

Can we have a Brighton away performance? What happened to that form? Everybody reckoned we were play-off certainties at the time, if you recall, if not an automatic spot??  It's within the squad to play like that - do you agree?

what elphick as 3rd centre half?

The team he hinted at was:

Can't see it myself, especially after the midfield's showing on Tuesday.  I think Bruce would go with Richards ahead of Elphick in a back three as well.

I used to love a back 5 when we played it under Taylor back in the day. The fullbacks were basically wingers.
