Johnstone

Bree
Chester
Baker
Taylor

Jedinak
Lansbury
Hourihane
Grealish

Kodjia
Hogan

My system would be a diamond, with Kodjia to pull wide and create space for the midfield runners to hit.

This all day long.

Last night (as in other games), the front 3 were becoming isolated from each other with the 2 wide players hugging the touchlines.

With the diamond, we are more dependent on the full backs for width so it might be Amavi at LB for me.  The formation is spot on though.

I would agree.  I think we have to play two up front and I think the Brentford game highlighted that we also need a defensive midfielder.  That leaves a diamond or 3-5-2.  Not sure we have got the defenders to play three at the back so a diamond looks the best best.  Would probably go with Lansbury just behind Hogan and Kodjia.

On paper this team should be pissing this league.

We're an even lower level team now - and they're still not very good.

well, Hogan's not going to be making the starting 11 for a while I would have thought.
