                            Johnstone
Bree.          Chester             Baker            Amavi
                             Jedinak
                 Lansbury.      Hourihane
Adomah                   Kodjia                     Thor

Bench: Bunn, Grealish, Elphick, Bacuna, Gabby, Green, New bloke.

Adomah and Thor to drop in, all 4-5-1 like when we don't have the ball.

Yep, looks about right.

I think he'll start Grealish
Johnstone
Bree Chester Baker Amavi
Jedinak
Hourihane Lansbury
Adomah                    Grealish
Kodjia

Apart from Jedinak being still injured!

Bruce has confirmed that the club won't risk Jedinak against Brentford to allow him full recovery from his groin strain.  Hence my team would be:

                   Johnstone

        Bree Chester Baker Amavi

Adomah Lansbury Hourihane Bjarnason

                   Grealish

                    Kodjia

Bench: Bunn Hutton Elphick Gardner Bacuna Green Gabby.  No room on the bench for Westwood.

Nice and positive.  Time to win away.  3-1 Villa.

Just spotted the club seem to have some more tickets for those with 7 aways.

Today was the deadline for returns/refunds, so maybe there were a few tickets sent back

Thanks for the heads up UK Redsox

If anybody meets the (high!) criteria ".1617 STH +7 ABH" and can get a tkt, my dad is looking to join us a would appreciate it.
Cheers (pls PM if you can help, otherwise enjoy all, only just realised it's on Sky Sports 1)

A win 1-2, I'm more confident now we have a bit more quality in midfield.

Brentford 0 - Villa 9

Referee blows up for full time on the hour to save Brentford from further punishment.

The way he talked about Thor made me wonder if he sees him as more of a central midfielder than a winger - likened him to savage

But playing him, Lansbury and hourihane in midfield would be a bit of a gamble

That sounds good. And very likely.

Though perhaps 0-11 on the hour. 😊

We have to win this one surely?

Brentford were pretty good at VP and will overload the midfield but Hogan's leaving for someone so won't be playing so they won't have a finisher.

Can see it being one of those games where they have 60 odd % possession but we nick a couple on the break like the good old days.

0-2.
