Think is needs Grealish for Bacuna or Albert. We have little invention and Wolves look like hitting us every time we give the ball away. Only positive is the score. It could've been 2 or 3. Hopefully, we can come out a different proposition.

Our midfield is dreadful.

This should be our new club motto. Maybe in Latin.

Each time we leave the massive comfort zones known as Villa Park and Bodymoor Heath, it all falls apart.

Our only hope of scoring here is if Jack comes on in the second half and gets us a penalty. Otherwise, I'd back a passing sparrow to head one in mid-flight over any of our comfort-loving rabble.

I assume it's microphone positioning as all I can hear are the Wolves fans.

Our bad away days continue we really need to improve in the second half I would get Jack on.

Yep, Grealish for me too, need someone you can retain the ball. I worry about our slow build up though
[/quoteExactly, Grealish, for all his pluses, isnt going to inject energy into our attacks.

At least the last twenty minutes we have improved - a little more hope

But why does it take us to go behind to actually try

Yeah, better side in the last twenty of that half, but still very little in the way of creativity.  Elphick looks a liability at the back so we look vulnerable.  McCormack off and Grealish on for me.

Yes, Jedinak and Tshibola are better than Gardner and Westwood but not that much better, and still nowhere near good enough. Trouble is, the front 2 look piss poor as well, Elphick for Baker weakens us, Bacuna is out of position and half arsed, Amavi is wasted trying to defend rather than probing inside the opposition half and Adomah lacks the quality for a promotion side. Chesters good though.

Looking at the subs that's just about the only realistic option in our position.

McCormack and Agbonlahor both look like ex players waddling about at a charity match.

That was poor! Major effort required in the transfer window. We seem to be getting worse as every week goes by. We need a replacement centre half for Elphick, who just looks shite and Baker who is injury prone. We might as well not bother with midfield. Jedinak is garbage, Tishbola looks poor and as for our forward line: Crap. Gabby is past it, and McCormack looks like a Sunday league player. Sort it out Bruce!

Sorry, but we have not acted quickly enough in this window especially with Kodjia and Ayew away. I'm disappointed and this is what I expected with lack of reinforcements nearly half way through January.

The midfield is just horrible. This must be the worst era for Villa midfields ever. I can't remember there ever being a time in my lifetime we've continually had a shit midfield for 6 or 7 years on the trot. It's ridiculous.
