I read someone mentioned in the tributes to him in the Graun that he was a wolves supporter.

Hopefully there'll be a minute's silence for him before the match and it is respectfully observed.

Typical Villa...2 weeks into transfer window and we've signed 1 player on loan.  Sigh!!

Injury update from Pravda/People's Daily

Quote
Mile Jedinak and Nathan Baker should both be fit for the Wolves clash this weekend.

We face Wanderers in a derby encounter on Saturday with a 5.30pm kick-off.

Jedinak has struggled this week with a thigh injury while Baker was struggling late on against Tottenham in the FA Cup with a back problem.

The pair look set to be available but Gary Gardner might miss out.

Gardner was absent at White Hart Lane with a sickness bug.

While Gardner is starting to feel better, it’s unlikely he will be back at Molineux.

Steve Bruce told us: “Nathan is fine. He has trained all week.

“Gary hasn’t really trained at all this week except for today.

“We will see how he is but it will probably be too early for him.

“Mile has had a knock as well. We will see how he is but we think he will be fine.

“Other than that, we are absolutely fine.”

I know we don't like clicking the links but I don't know how to download pictures.  This is a great programme cover for tomorrow it has to be said.

Be a good gauge to see how we have changed since Brucie's 1st game in charge of us v the dingles on the back of the RDM debacle.

thats what I'm afraid of, Bruce has made a lot of changes but I dont think we have improved all that much

Johnstone in as new keeper, Hutton back in as right back, Baker in for Elphick, Amavi in for Cissokho - thats only the defence

Kodjia missing robs us of any kid of spark up top and the likes of Amavi and Grealish are bang out of form at the moment, not to mention the teletubby duo struggles

first goal crucial but looks like a 0-0 to me

----------Johnstone
Hutton, Chester, Baker, Amavi
---Bacuna, Jedinak, Tshibola
Adamoah, Gabby, Grealish

He made his league debut there in 2012...played quite well from memory.

Robbie Keane game...

I just can't see how we're going to pose a goal threat

No I'm struggling to see that at the moment.
