Can’t imagine it will trouble the best sellers league table but for us oldies it will be worth a read

Gary Shaw or Sid Cowans' would be my preferred of the 81'82 crop to do one.
I guess a lot of that generation of players, ie when football was unfashionable, have probably already shared the worthwhile anecdotes through supporter-meets and after-dinner speeches (although by that token, most of us won't have heard them).

The Saunders  book has good coverage of his time at the Villa, the aftermath may as well have ended it the day he walked out on us.

Having read a hell of a lot of football biographies and autobiographies I have always thought Peter Withe's story as a journeyman footballer to his glory days at Forest and Villa and his varied coaching career was ideal material for a good book.

I have the Saunders book at the top of my Christmas list. Prolific 'journeyman striker', rising in management from non league to taking Norwich into the top flight for the first time in their history, three successive league cup finals with three different clubs then the Villa years which could be a book of it's own and his time at Small Heath and Albion.
