Burton weren't anything like as bad as I expected them to be.

When are we actually going to start playing well? Can't keep grinding out these wins playing poorly, it will end eventually.

Have to say aswell the extra 10,000 added nothing to the atmosphere which was flatter than a witch's tit. It will have to be a lot better against Leeds or their fans will take the piss for 90 minutes.

We're in a rut with our fluency and have been for five games now.  We've taken 9 points from these games where we've been shit.

Clueless Bruce, clueless.

If we have to stay down this year....we will walk the league next year with what's likely to come down from the prem.

Their goal was outstanding technique.

Ward's from Hodge Hill. A good friend's Dad used to coach him and Ikeme I think for a Chemsley Wood youth team in the 90s.

Good player at this level.

Yes it was but awful defending from Hutton.

That has to be the first time I have read that about Hutton...

After years of shit and us rightly moaning about rarely winning, we've won 7 of the last 11, won 5 in a row at home for the time in over 20 years and it's still not good enough. To put it into context, only once in the last 5 seasons have we won more home games in a season than Bruce has won in his first 6. Beat Leeds and we match that season as well after 7 Bruce home games.

Personally, while i'd like us to be playing better, i'm loving us winning more often than not after us being shite for so long.

We're playing at a lower level now though so it's not a like for like comparison and we're unconvincing in most of our wins. People "moaning" have a point.

We were even more unconvincing for the first 11 games at this lower level when we went game after game without a win. If people don't want to enjoy winning most games after 5+ years of utter shit then that's up to them but I find it weird.

Bruce is drossing his way to play off's. Yes the football is awful but it's a wonderful feeling to come away from your seat with 3 points in the bag.

Did you go? The team did nothing to lift the fans and atmosphere.

Yes I know it's unusual rare occurrence for a defender who always sticks to the nearest attacker like a limpet ....

Not bothered by performance, it's all about the result. Obviously something more pleasing on the eye would be welcome from time to time but if i was sitting here now thinking 'well we played really well today, how did we not win?' i'd be a damn sight more fucked off than I currently am

This team will be playing poor until we get a midfield and a right back. Simple as that

Bruce is working borderline miracles at the moment for me

I am really worried about that  now that you have told us. I will not turn up on Thursday and hide under a duvet. What can be worse than a team that regularly rolls in about 23K at home taking the piss out of us at VP?.

You sure it's not Kingshurst? Everyone his age I know from there reckon he's a Kingshurst boy.

Hopefully away teams will stop with this bullshit of winning the toss and switching ends. We'll f*ck you over whichever way you wanna play, so take your second half beating in front of the Holte like good little boys.
