QPR are poor and you have to beat what's put in front of you. We played ok though and were comfortable rather than spectacular.  If we can get suitable replacements in for Gardner, Bacuna and a centre forward, who knows where we might end up. Bacuna did ok today to be fair but we need a left winger.

Anyone want to guess the last time we could enjoy Christmas having won the previous game?
Was it the last time there was such a thing as a white Christmas?

That was when we lost 8-0 to Chelsea!

We seem to be making hard work of every game.  We are still generally playing as a team of individuals.  Kodjia was pulling their defence all over the place but so often nobody was running through into the space.  I always look for players playing in groups of three in different parts of the pitch so that they can play themselves out of trouble and set up openings at the other end.  This is not happening and, in my opinion, is why we are struggling.

Some good individual performances and was pleased with Baker.  At this level he can use his strength to look solid, without having to be a ball player.  Don't think I can remember Bunn making a save but did well with a couple of crosses.  Bacuna is showing the right attitude and gave the midfield some energy.

Will be interesting to see who we bring in in January.  Midfield is a must and considering how many forwards we have, nobody is strong enough in the air when the ball is played up to them.  Having spent a lot of money on forwards, I am starting to think we need to spend some more and, in which case, I would look to offload one or two.  A couple of loans might be the answer.

Not long back and at least we got the 3 points. I must confess our performances of late haven't been really convincing when you consider the level of opposition we have faced. Yep I agree you can only beat what's in front of you but the games we are winning are hardly easy wins....they all seem on a knife edge... I think Bruce really does have his work cut out to get us up this season. We have improved since he took the helm but it isn't a week by week improvement. Suppose it's a case of what January brings.

It's odd as our performance against Brighton was so good and deserved 3 points. Since then we do look very unconvincing.

I think he needs to make sure he knows the difference between GHD and GHB.

Ahh what a magical Christmas. Didn't we continue the Christmas spirit by losing 4-0 to Spurs and 3-0 to Wigan?

I thought you might have been suggesting Bruce has been on some kind of legal high. Might explain his persistence with Gabby.  Should be a fringe player at best.

Poor game. We looked very championship

Not playing jack is a bad decision as he has something no one else does

Yes his gas-withdrawal happens at an altitude about 100 cm above the rest of us....
