Just read on Newsnow that his signing for Nantes has hit a snag. A late medical has disclosed a heart problem. No further info.

I'll resist the temptation to post anything inappropriate.....

Ok, agree, but it's so tempting

Fuck it.

I knew the weight of that wallet would be his undoing.

Better finding out about a dodgy ticker via a medical. Good luck Charles.

I hope he makes a full recovery, he's a young man and, whatever we may think of him as an individual, like the rest of us he deserves to live a full and healthy life.

Health-wise, I wish him all the best but it doesn't change my opinion of him one iota

Shades of Asa Hartford.  I wish him well.  A long and happy life.

Well lot of people have heart conditions and he is in a better position than most to do something about it. I can't forgive him for taking the piss whilst he was here.

Wonder if it is a condition that has come about recently or whether he has had it for ages but no previous medical teams have noticed it.

I'll always think that his response to Shaun Teale's Twitter trolling was first class.

We don't know how much it's like Asa Hartford, but that was a big story in 1971 when Leeds pulled out the deal. Checking Wikipedia Hartford went on to make 744 senior appearances, the last being in 1991 for Shrewsbury  aged 40.
I wish N'Zogbia good health.

Considering the amount of testing that goes on at the highest level of sport, I would be amazed if it was a long standing issue that hadn't been picked up before.  He didn't endear himself to Villa fans during his time here, but some things are way more important than football and I wouldn't wish ill health on anyone.
