I'll echo nev's thoughts, they were just better than us. We'll win in Paris...

I'm not a golf fan but I do normally watch the ryder cup but this year the fans were so bad for the 10 minutes I caught on Friday that I just couldn't bring myself to watch any more.

The American fans were pretty dreadful. We might enjoy a poor shot from the opposition when it's played in Europe but the personal abuse of the players over there is terrible. Next time it is at The Belfry they should knock out 10,000 tickets to season ticket holders on the Holte. That might replicate the away atmosphere a bit!

"On the first tee, representing Team USA, Patrick Reed".

"Fuck off you fat fucking prick".

Or do that clap the opposing goalie thing and when he waves call him a wanker. That use to make me laugh.

'On the tee...Jordan Spieth'
Polite applause, the odd cheer.
Spieth touches his cap and nods to the Belfry gallery.
Someone shouts out 'tosser!' And the rest of the crowd start the Icelandic football clap.
