I picked a few random pages of this thread to read, consistently the words useless, pathetic and shit pop up, glad I opted to wash bikes and fiddle with oily things. Fuck wasting time on these clowns.

Well Newcastle have had 10 shots (3 on target) and haven’t scored from any of them.

If I had the DeLorean back in 1996, or 2006 (or any other year pre 2016) and zoomed through to this cat vomit of a season, where Steve cxnting Bruce looks like a good option as a Villa manager, I'd probably wrap it around the lampost on the way home.

Thing is, I'm not convinced their players are all that much better than ours. The difference is they have a proper manager. If the two teams swapped managers we'd be right up there while Newcastle would look be embarrassing themselves.

We haven't played a single impressive team this season, we just make it so fucking easy all the time.

The thing is, I can't imagine us doing anything different in the second half. Earn your corn, Di Matteo.

Ref has given everything to them but absolute bollocks from us on the whole - Ayew has done nothing, Bacuna is no midfielder, Elphick is terrible, Amavi looks devoid of confidence.

I'd take the so called captain off put Bacuna at right back and bring on Gestede.

RDM out. I can't think of a clearer case of a team being shit solely because of the manager.

Bacuna is such a limited player

It's full back or nothing for me. He's awful in midfield

I thought that whoever came in as manager would surely get rid of the useless grinning tosser, but Di Matteo decided Bacuna could 'do a job'. It's little wonder the shite continues unabated this season. I bloody-well despair, I really do. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

This reminds me of when I used to play football and you had training in a park once a week in the dark.

It reminds me of when you play FIFA and the other player puts their controller down and fucks off for their dinner or whatever.

We're the other player in this analogy.
That's definitely nearer to what we're watching but just before he went for his dinner he pissed in your face.

Rdm looks horribly unbothered.

There might be a good reason for that.
Do u think Tony has given him this as last chance ?

What utter utter shite. This set up is terrible. The gapes between midfield and defence where Newcastle are just picking us out is a joke. Ashley Westwood, I don't know how many more games/times I'm going to have to see his performance of the invisible man and bottling out of 50/50 balls.
I said it a few weeks ago but RDM will not see the Blues match imo.

Second half, get Tish on in the middle. Play 433, Bacuna at RB,  Sub Baker/Chester/Elpick for Cissoko.
                    Gollini
Bacuna, Elphick, Chester, Cissokko
                    Jedinak
               Tish.      Invisible man
Adomah.                             Ayew.
                    Kodjia

Newcastle had a bit of trouble putting it in the back of the net, so we did it for them. It's the Villa-est thing ever. The most generous team on the fucking planet.

I'm not going to make excuses for that shitstorm - every second ball was lost, every easy clearance seemed a major difficulty - but the officials have been utter c***s so far.

Still shocks me how Dalglish produced that Dalglish.
