I can't recall the last time I predicted a Villa win but going for Them 1 Us 2 (McCormack and Ayew)

I'm hoping for something like this. We score, they equalise. It looks like it's drifting towards a draw, and then someone like McCormack/Ayew pulls something out of the bag.

This is a winnable game but also one where we could easily slip up   Take A point now but hoping for 3

With the two most recent signings, I feel a little more confident going in than say Rotherham.

Really hope we just go out and fucking stuff Bristol City, I know it's not that simple with a new team gelling but those shots off the woodwork all finally going in, isn't it about time we had one of those days where it clicks?

0-1 og off their central defender's arse at the death from a Westwood corner.

We need to make sure we don't patronise clubs like this or be over confident.

Bumpkins 0 Villa 7.

Smile. Clever, PWS.

Defeat 4-0, panic stations, sack the manager the new owners needs to stop tweeting. See what Villa has done to me over the years, I am one miserable old bastard.

That team looks half decent and with the possibility of two more acquisitions I'd be disappointed if we couldn't mount a title challenge.

We have to start winning games like this.  A creditable draw will start to see us marooned in the mid table region and we can't afford for that to happen, however early in the season it is.

To me the only part that needs change is up front (hence Messi).  Apart from that, I think there's a genuinely top quality side there.
