I know what you're all thinking.  "What is that watch he's wearing as he stretches the shirt so enthusiastically while looking all the time like Spud from Trainspotting?"  Well, wonder no more, it's a Rolex Daytona with a black dial, and steel and yellow gold bracelet.  A notch below Chester's Patek Philippe, if I'm honest.

Anyway, watch twattery aside, he looks to have exactly the sort of experience we're crying out for, and once Amavi is up to speed we now look to have a highly improved back four.

Haha you jest but one of my first thoughts when I saw the OTPSTS pic was'I bet Risso knows what watch that is'.

I hope he can cross a ball well  and defend properly!

Lots of unfair (in my opinion) slagging of Alan Hutton on Twitter as a result of this signing.

Solid player and character, we have signed a few of them this summer. Good competition for Bacuna at right back.

Hopefully the end for Hutton and Richards at AVFC

Between him, Chester and Gollini we've got a right little Man Utd youth team reunion happening.

Revel Morrisson too?

Asda be a chance.

We are finally getting this club sorted. Such a shame we had to suffer relegation and an ownership change to begin to achieve that. Better De Late than never I suppose.

Leicester mate of mine reckons we're getting a cracking player who is very fast. Dr Tony once again putting his money where his mouth is.

A sample of some of the comments from Foxes Talk about him, as I know absolutely nothing of him:

Quote
He exceeded my expectations and although not a top quality player, he definitely has quality for borderline Premier League football.

Quote
Was great for us in the Championship but frankly terrified me when he played in the Prem. Good luck RDL!

Quote
Good luck to Ritchie, a very good professional who had some great games at the club, including the 5-3 win over Man Utd (THAT ball to Vardy) and the 4-1 home win over Derby.

He will certainly do well I reckon, his pace is an asset getting up and down the line, good for overlaps. A move to the West Midlands in Aston Villa will be good for him.

Quote
Shocking positioning and defensive sense but more than enough pace to cover himself. Bit like Jeff really.

Easily good enough for a top six championship side, the right kind of signing for them.

Great signing for THEM? cheeky f***er

Yeah, who do they think they are, Premier League Champions or something?!!?

Haven't seen a lot of him but it's good to see last season's team slowly being replaced.
