Still defending Bruce and his idiotic decisions.

We have Elmo
We have Hutton
We have Bree
We even have Axel

On what bloody planet was letting RDL go out on loan a bad idea ... seriously ???

We could've easily sent another one (or just not resigned Hutton) out as well.

First folks were taking the piss about how many right backs we had now some are moaning we offloaded one of em.

Gold.

It's the fact that he brought Axel in to play RB when he already had so many of them that he had to end up offloading one of them that takes the piss. I don't know why that's so difficult to understand.

I think it was just a case of  Bruce not fancying RDL as a player. He didn't sign him, so he brought in his own players and let him go. Smith might have a different view and bring him back. I think that's all there was/is too it.

Just watching my local A League team (Perth Glory) playing Melbourne City (Man City franchise) and saw Ritchie playing as a striker for Melbourne!
Is he on season loan out here?
I'm not sure what value there is in it really.
I would think another to depart in the summer.
He looked OK in pre-season for us though.

yeah that was another headscratcher from Bruce. Why play him in pre-season if you don't rate him at all?

I believe that RDL's contract expires this summer so 99.9% likely he won't be returning.

He played fine pre season and got down the right flank with pace, as long as I'm on this planet he is better than the 3 right backs that have played this season and should never have been loaned out.

I wonder will we look to bring him back given our uncertainty at right back?
