Kozak was clearly not fit, I suspect he was on the bench so they could give him a few minutes at the end, not over an hour.

Oh dear. Sub subbed. I know there are mitigating circumstances but that's not good.

You've got to question his inclusion in the first place.

That's the point RDM was making yesterday. We have no depth at all at that position and very little genuine quality, McCormack aside.

Kozak = Donkey

After 1 start in 2 and a half years due to injury, looking rusty is not really a shock.
True but getting a free header on target and making a 1 metre pass shouldn't be beyond someone who has been training most days ...
He's human.

The galling thing is, if we'd appointed Pearson as our manager in the summer, we'd have won the league by now.

And the Champions League, plus challenging for the La Liga title.

Kozak is just in the shop window to get a few quid for him from somebody desperate.

I think I'd take the point right now.

Me too.

We need a couple of attacking options and another midfielder before the window shuts.

I don't think they'll be queuing up after seeing that.

Yeah, it's fair comment. Heat of the moment comments ...
I want Kozak to do well: he looked good before the horrendous injuries.

RHM has to be worth a go.

I think the key thing here is the difference between a player being worth a go and worth relying on.

I'd agree RHM is the sort of player who deserves a chance, but rely on him playing enough of a part to deliver all the options we need up front? That'd be nuts. That's the sort of mistake we've made over and over these last five years or so.
