I'm still optimistic. Despite the recent results a leading index bookmaker still projects us to get 67.5 points and finish 6th. 2 1/2 points ahead of Derby, but 11 1/2 points behind Norwich in 2nd. At this stage I would take the play-offs.

I think we will there or thereabouts for the play offs. We are a mistake or two for automatic promotion

Day out winning at Wembley would be just fine by me...

To get automatic last season was 90 points.

6th place is usually low 70s.

It's a much more achievable target for us.

I said 9th at the start of the season, I stand by that.

You could well be right.

As things stand I'd say we will just miss out on top 6 and will rue all these points we've thrown away.

What I'm clinging onto is surely we will go on a run at some point. That will change things as you only need to win 2-3 in this league and you can shoot up 5-6 places.

I'll bet any bookie we won't at any time this season be two and half points ahead of Derby.

Well the most obvious example there is Wednesday, made the Play off final which I'd snap your hands off if offered tbh and they weren't that far off automatics.

Preston also had a great run second half of the season, weren't far off making top 6.

Still confident of top 6, anything better will be a massive bonus

Last time we were in this league, we had 6 points after 7 games, having lost 3 of them. We didn't win a home game until the middle of October. That didn't turm out too bad did it?

New manager, new team, new regime. It will take time.
